Christopher Dresser silver-plated teapot, circa 1879. The rare stove top form with ebonised timber handle, elevated by four feet.

The base is stamped with 'Designed by DC.Dresser.' 

Condition is very good for age, some natural patina to silver plating due to age.

Teapot was produced by Sheffield based Dixon & sons founded in 1808
